R129 is the current European child seat standard. You will also see it called i-Size. You pick the seat by the child's height, not only by weight.

Do Dublin taxis have child seats?

Often, no. The RSA says taxis are exempt from supplying a child seat. If you need a taxi with child seats in Dublin, book it. Do not assume a hailed taxi will have one.
